Alamos golf course is set in natural rolling hills terrain. Well maintained, and mostly wide fairways, with rather fast slopy greens that will test your putting skills. However, playable and enjoyable by all golfers but beginners. Sharing buggies, practice facilities and club house with sister course Morgado. Same efficient and friendly staff manage and run the whole place. Good value for money.
Played Alamos for the first time this afternoon. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From check in to playing the course to lunch at the clubhouse, Alamos was everything we could have hoped for. The course itself is a fun, challenging layout, and is in the best shape of any course we’ve played in Portugal. Absolutely fantastic.

Both the courses Morgado and Alamos are in good condition and the landscape is beautiful and so quiet and peaceful.

I will recommend this to be one of the best areas to play golf in
western Algarve.
Very dry fairways. Greens watered and with many slopes. Run off after many greens are completely blank so the ball will roll out and be gone. All the water hazards are completely dry, so some times you can hit from them. Lots of stones in rough so recommend dropping away from them. A varied course with many challenges. Recommend buggie or electric trolley because of the hilly area. white tees are closed.
The course is suffering a little from lack of rain as is morgado but personally I think alamos is much better condition and a lot tighter but still very enjoyable. If you need a buggy book it in advance and be sure to get there early to see …
Was quite windy when i played the course but enjoyed it very much.. Would play it again any day (not in the least since i met a very nice UK citizen on the 5 and could finish the course in his company) 👍👍👍 …
These courses should be closed until they sort their irrigation out. Worst condition we've ever experienced in all our years of golf travel. Fairways have no grass and are like compacted concrete. Shocking they're charging people to play …
